Or make you cringe because against your skin theyre cold?
Without a pair of arms how could I hold and hug you tight,
and snuggle up close to you in the middle of the night?
Without a pair of feet how could I ever go up on tiptoes,
and kiss your super-soft lips, cheeks or even your nose?
Without a pair of legs how could I drive us lots of places,
to turn the frowns to smiles that shine upon our faces?
Lacking just one of these things, we may still survive,
but only when a pair is together do we truly come alive.
